176- Grease monkey
Anyone have a remedy for the lingering scent of motor oil and axle grease? After that "create-a-critter" curse I haven't been able to purge the apartment, or myself, for that matter, of the smell. Honestly, where the hell did it all come from? I guess the morbid mechanical microwave monstrosity I made was a little bit more accurate than it needed to be. Maybe I should just be happy I didn't use real blood.

Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, I'm still looking for a roommate that isn't my dog, my wooden effigy of Lord Il Palazzo, nor whatever the hell that thing I made was supposed to be. Wakaba.... Wakash.... Watari... Wa-chan, if your old place is empty, you can feel free to stay here if you don't mind the smell of gutted automobile. It's just me and the dog, and she's... Well, actually, she's been acting kinda dizzy lately. Must be the oil. Guess I oughta open some windows... Eh, well, the bedrooms are still clean, at least. I prefer the futon myself it's a really nice futon, but to each her own.

... I wonder if Mr. Sweeney's still around. I must not have been paying much attention, but I don't remember seeing him at the shop for at least a month or so now. Maybe I oughta start looking for another job... Though, this IS the longest I've ever held a job down... EVER... Hmmm...

I think I really HAVE been here a year now. Oh, my Lord, your humble servant mourns every day during which she is unable to be doing your work and spreading enlightenment to the ignorant masses. Surely you wouldn't think me slacking to be so idle in a place like this where the masses are so quick to react with violent words and wit to the truth? Were it as easy to simply disappear in this place as it is back home without having to fight off monstrous beasts, I would surely be doing all in my power to bring down the corrupt... whatever the hell this place has. But without your guidance, or, as much as it pains me to admit, without assistance from Ha-chan or even Elgala, I am unable to do so. Oh to be in your presence again, to hear your wise, manly voice again...

... Suddenly I'm vexed by the conflicting desires to either pummel something savagely or hug something very tightly. Luckily for me, mannequin-san was created with just such thoughts in mind.
